Design of a new identity for the prestigious Bishopsgate Institute in the heart of London.
Having won a pitch, we spent six months working on a new identity for Bishopsgate Institute.
The Institute, which resides in a century-old, purpose-built, listed building on Bishopsgate (perhaps not surprisingly), is a centre for culture and learning, and home to an impressive library that houses, what is acknowledged to be, the best collection of material related to politics and political activity in London.
There are variations of the Institute logo to represent the Library, Courses, Events and Halls, which are available for hire, to stage events.
I drew the logo in FreeHand (shock!) after some initial concept work with colleague Ollie. I was a bit rusty when it came to remembering some of the shortcuts, but it slowly came back to me. I’m pleased with the result.
