Only a pound, who’ll give me a pound for a bag of pictures?

Identity, literature and CD packaging for Digital Vision, an image library.

Digital Vision were an ambitious start-up, quick off the mark as we switched from film to digital images. They offered collections of themed images at low prices; digital photography meant that kind of thing could be achieved for little outlay (no film and processing, no expensive scanning), it was just a question of who could be quickest to work out how to make the most of it.

Selling images on CD’s seemed modern for a few years, but that quickly changed when we started downloading.

These guys did okay though, it wasn’t long before Getty bought them, along with everyone else in the industry.

I designed them an identity, catalogues and packaging for the CD collections.
